Monthly fees for subvented, contract and bought-place homes are set uniformly by the government. The fees for each place type are:
- Care-and-attention residential care place: HK$1,660 (non-disability allowance recipient) / HK$1,871 (disability allowance recipient)
- Continuum-of-care residential care place: HK$2,060
- Nursing home place: HK$2,054
In addition, """Guangdong residential care service places""" are free, with the relevant fees already covered by government subsidies.
Fees for private homes are set by the homes themselves, and the government does not publish a market guide price. Before admission, proactively ask the home for its fee leaflet and check each item one by one.
