On Yi Home’s care home information has two parts: officially registered basic information and ratings and detailed information verified by our team.
Sources of basic care home information:
- The platform covers all registered residential care homes for the elderly in Hong Kong. Licensed care home information refers to the Social Welfare Department’s licensing database under the Residential Care Homes (Elderly Persons) Ordinance (Cap. 459).
- Basic information such as licences, places, and addresses refers to registration records on the Social Welfare Department’s official website, elderlyinfo.swd.gov.hk.
How ratings and detailed information are updated:
- Ratings and detailed information are updated in the admin system after site visits and regular verification by the On Yi Home team. Updates take effect immediately and are reflected on the website right away.
